Having a Le Belvedere wedding film is a dream. The view you get with the mountains in the background as you say your vows makes everything feel surreal. This particular wedding day was a little moody but in my opinon it just added to the vibe and gave me all the moody goodness I love at an outdoor wedding.

Matt and Ashley met at a dog park where the best man had introduced the two. In life and in family trauma Matt and Ashley have been together threw a lot and there relationship is strengthened and stood the test of time in the process. Filming this wedding I kept in mind the people that were present but also those that couldn’t be there with us. Tyler was Ashley’s younger brother and I never got the chance to meet him but it was clear that he was the life of the party type of character. In the video you can see Ashley holding a hat that Tyler used to wear. Inserting these little shots was important because I could see how important Tyler was to Ashley and I wanted his presence to be felt in the wedding day.

Moments like these remind me of the potential with wedding videos. I’m there for the wedding day itself capturing the bride and groom but its also important to be mindful of the people that have come to celebrate. Watching your wedding video years from now these people will stand out in your video as they age. Some will continue to grow with us and some may pass so I want to give people the opportunity to be able to look back and relive moments that they had with those people in there wedding video. For me its more than the wedding day, its little details like this that make a wedding video timeless.

My favorite part about this wedding day was the first look and vows. Ashley and Matt’s genuine laughter and emotion when they first saw each other was amazing to witness. Aside from that they also had a folk singer that played some awesome songs for us during the reception. Due to the pandemic there couldn’t be any dancing so the artist played some songs on his guitar as everybody sang along together. Although I always prefer dancing this was a nice compromise and something different that I think more people should try out and consider. Esthetically when it comes to the venue my favorite part was the view itself. Seeing the mountains in the fall with the colored leaves was super nice and scenic. Aside from outdoors the inside of the bridal and groom sweat are super nice and create a nice opportunity to get some solid get ready footage.

My only challenge with this wedding was sound. The officiant had stood way off to the side as they did the ceremony which threw me off. As a result I didn’t get to have the audio that I would normally want but I had a back up plan. Another example of the wedding day not going entirely how I wanted but that’s ok. Another fun challenge especially if you have your wedding is getting a limo up the hill to the venue. It was only the fall and the bride had to walk down a bit to get to the limo.

If you want a nice view for your wedding ceremony then I highly recommend having a Le Belvedere wedding film. The get ready locations and the peace and quiet you get just being in the mountains is a vibe in itself.
