I have purchased many online courses and Parker Walbecks Fulltime Filmmaker course has been the best technical course that I have enrolled in. From the content in the course to the way it is presented I highly recommend it to anybody that wants to get into filmmaking or freelance videography. The funny story is that I actually bought this course twice. The first time I purchased it was when it was initially released. I ultimately asked for a refund because I felt that the course was lacking things that I didn’t already know. 2 years after I had seen ads about the course again but this time Parker was promoting a new course within Fulltime Filmmaker. One thing I did not understand is that the course actually keeps growing with new content. With that said I decided to get the course again and I’m glad that I did.

The full course includes a few topics and each is taught by a different instructor. My favorite was the wedding video pro section of the course. There are also sections for real estate, music videos, travel videos and much more. I highly recommend taking every course, you may have no interest in music videos but there’s always something to learn in each section that you can apply to whatever else you’re filming. Another part of the course worth mentioning is the business side. This part of the course takes everything you learnt prior from a technical side and teaches you how to market it to whatever audience you’re trying to attract. This is essential and not every course will have an in depth section that teaches you how to shoot and market yourself.

Fulltime Filmmaker is truly the one-stop shop when it comes to filmmaking courses. Parker puts a lot of time into every video in the course and it shows. His way of teaching is easy to understand and the Facebook group is a great opportunity to get your work reviewed. Although the price initially may seem steep one thing to consider is all the discounts that you’re entitled to when you purchase the course. One of the bigger discounts being Adobe creative cloud at 60% off. When you start adding up all these discounts you will quickly realize that the course easily pays itself off.
