The Doctors House Wedding Video – Robin + Laura

Robin and Laura met during cheerleading in high school. Laura’s friend asked her to go to a cheerleading audition and she thought why not. It was at that moment that she met Robin. This wedding was special because we really appreciated the depth of their love story, the good and bad moments just holding each other down in the process. Robin and Laura were transparent with us from day one and it shows in their wedding video. When we first met with Laura and Robin they told us when they found us on google that we stood out because of our ability to tell stories. From that point, we knew that there wedding was something that we really wanted to film.

This wedding video includes our favorite father-daughter first look. Laura is a daddy’s girl and you can see how close she is with her father during their first look. The wedding took place at the Doctors house in Vaughn Ontario. Aside from this venue being gorgeous we recommend it due to its location. Next to the venue is a little small town that almost looks like a pioneer village with an old fashioned looking Starbucks. This creates a great opportunity for the bride and groom photo sessions. Another cool part about this venue is the old-style chapel which is also a nice option for wedding photos. The reception part of this venue is perfect if you’re doing a day wedding as it includes large windows which are a nice change from wedding venues that are usually darker. This is also a wedding venue that we find does the smoke machine right (many don’t). If you were thinking of having that dreamy smoke machine shot this is a good place to do it.
